Redecorating!

Image
Since school was out on Wednesday the boys stayed home with me on Thursday and Friday.  They played while I antiqued my cabinets and stained the grout lines in my kitchen. On Friday my friend Elena came by and we took our kids down to the creek.  While we were chatting away Sam and Olivia crossed over to the other side. It was pretty slick and they both fell into the water.  Later that day we took the boys to the pool for the first time this season.  I was so proud of Finn - he is actually swimming under water on his own. Saturday was much of the same.  I spent most of the day working on the house in preparation for Dad and Gigi coming to help me put up the back splash and paint.  But before the work started I sat and snuggled with the boys. Sam was so precious putting this puzzle together. Finn took these. Awards Day

Friday was the boy's last day of preschool for the year.  Just like last year, I missed the awards ceremony because I was in court.  Both boys got medals for saying all of the assigned Bible verses.  Finn also got "the most observant" award.  Mrs. Cindy explained that Finn received this award because he was always letting her know what his classmates were up to.  So basically Finn got the "tattle-tale" award.  Words cannot express how proud I was to hear of Finn's desire to see justice served.  After the awards ceremony the boys played outside on the bouncies. Then they spent the rest of the day with Gran.

Wesley's Salon in Murfreesboro. Stacie Wright Mayo - the Matron of Honor.  The "before" shot. Anna Walker - getting her eye lashes on. The stylist telling me how horrible my eyebrows are and how deep set my eyes are.  I think my face was the bane of her existence. Anna's transformation is complete - so darned photogenic.  This was my first time to ever wear fake eyelashes.  This was a big mistake because now I want to wear them all the time.  Stacie's husband brought us food to keep our energy up during all the pampering.  Deanna, the Bride.  The "after" shot.  Stacie is so beautiful, even when she is eating.  It's
