Easter Sunday
Today is Easter! I made sure to get up extra early so that we wouldn't be rushed to get to church on time. I decided to put Finn's Easter outfit on right before we left the house. I really liked Finn's outfit, but unfortunately his hat didn't really fit over his giant gord so it looked more like an Easter bonnet. Before leaving for church we went outside and took pictures.
This Easter Sunday we went to church with the Begleys. Once again I missed the service because Finn made too much noise. For the first part of the service Finn sat with Mrs. Jean on the other side of the room. All I could see was his little hat.
After church Finn opened his Easter basket from the Easter Bunny that lives in Manchester (Mom). I wanted to get a cute picture of him sitting next to his basket, but he attacked the Easter grass the second he saw it.
The Easter Bunny was really good to Finn this year. He got a romper, two books, a shake and rattle elephant and a singing donkey! He also got a couple bags of jelly beans that he gladly shared with his mom.
Finn loved his shakey elephant, but I was determined to have Finn play with this singing donkey. Finn was so funny playing with that donkey. I thought he was going to cry a couple of times, but he held it together. This donkey is hilarious! It sings "sugar pie, honey bunch", moves its head back and forth and flops its ears. Finn couldn't keep his eyes off the donkey, not because he thought it was great, but instead because he didn't trust that donkey one bit. I sat it next to him on the couch and turned it on. Every time he would go to play with his elephant he would immediately look back at the donkey to make sure it hadn't moved closer to him. He did this several times - it was so cute.
