Doorbell
I was really curious how Finn would respond to the time change. Luckily the zoo tuckered him out last night and we went to be normally. He actually slept until a little past 7:00 this morning, so I think he will adjust just fine.
This morning I had to go to Lebanon very early so Michael had to get Finn ready to go to JT's house all my himself. He did a great job and I am really lucky to have him.
When we got home we started straight into cooking dinner. Finn played with Thomas all over the house while I cooked. Finn had green peas tonight for dinner; he also had a little long grain rice. The peas were a hoot. Finn refuses to let anyone feed him anymore so we just give him a spoon no matter what and let him go for it. Finn really thought the peas were quite delicious but had the most difficult time getting them to actually go in his mouth. Everytime he would get the spoon close to his mouth he would turn his wrist just enough to pour all the peas in his lap.
After our successful dinner, Finn had a bath. While in the bathtub he asked him in his sweetest voice to sing the "Bunny Song" from Veggie Tales. You should hear him sing it; it is so funny listening to him thry to immulate the proper way to sing this song.
Next we all settled in for the final rose bachelor episode. It all started out fine, Finn was eating his apples and being still and quiet. Then the doorbell rang on the Bachelor. Fin pops ups as fast as he could and yelled "doorbell." Then he started yelling for every possible member of his family. We ended up having to open the door to prove to him that no one was outside.
One last thing from yesterday. We saw a cute little blonde, floppy haired boy yesterday at the zoo. Finn took one look at him and started yelling "COOPER." He was so excited at the possibility that Cooper might be at the zoo. Also, when Finn hears Cooper he will usually follow it up with "Emily." Sorry Zac.
