Thanksgiving 2017
The Begley crew arrived at Nana and Papa's house on Wednesday night around supper time. We unpacked and set the boys up in their new room - the garage! Papa and Nana completely redid their garage and set up mattresses so that the boys and Nana could all sleep together.
After supper, they all laid down and prepared to watch "The March of the Wooden Soldiers" at Nana's insistence - of course. They made it about 15 minutes into the movie before a mutiny broke out - the end result of which was the abrogation of Nana's movie and in the insurgence of "Elf."
Even before the movie started, the boys took a long, long time to simmer down.
Will did not sleep in the garage - but enjoyed the insanity.
Will was also the only grandchild that had the slightest interest in the movie.
The next morning we got up and had breakfast. I mostly ate monkey bread. Then we got ready and hung out until it was time for lunch.
We all opened out ornaments.
I shopped for a used piano.
The boys played football, horseshoes and climbed trees.
And Sam pushed Will and Cooper around in the Gator.
The ended the night with a game of charades. Sam tended to make up the answer as he went along. He was so funny.
