Begley Party

On Sunday Michael, Will and I woke up early and went to church.   We left the boys home with Nana while we went to Sunday School.  Will was so good - he didn't make a peep the entire time.

After Sunday School we went to Kroger to pick up a few things for lunch. We had invited Michael's entire family over for a cookout.  In attendance were Gran, Pa, David, Sharon, Henry, James, Chelsea, Cade, Charlie, Donna and Tina.

The boys put the basketball goal up.

Papa arrived first and helped Michael put up the basketball goal. The boys played on it the rest of the day.  While the boys were putting up the goal, Gran prepared the food.  Everything was so good.

Then we took some family pictures.

Sharon taught me how to wear Will in a woven wrap.  I was skeptical - but she made a believer out of me.  It is so comfortable and Will loved it.

On Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m., Michael and I said our goodbyes to Nana, Finn and Sam and went to Sumner Regional Hospital.

We were instructed to arrive at the hospital at 7:30 a.m. to start prepping for Will's birth.  I was adamant that we arrive on time so I refused to let Michael stop at the Sonic before going to the hospital.

Once there we waited in the lobby to be registered.  Gran and Pa were already there so they waited with us.  After registration Michael and I went back to a labor a delivery room to start the process. First they started an IV and then hooked me up to the fetal monitor to track Will's heartbeat.  My procedure was supposed to be the second one of the day, but since the person scheduled first was late we got their spot! See, that refusal to stop at Sonic paid off.

Next the anesthesiologist came in and explained the spinal block - she made it sound a lot worse than it really was.  Then Dr. Holt came in and explained the "c-section" process. …
