I Wanna Party

On Saturday Finn attended two birthday parties. The first was Addison's birthday party at Circus World and the second was for his best friend JT at JT's house.  Finn woke up very excited and asked all day about going to the birthday party.  Since the first party started at 1:00 we had to make sure Finn got an early nap.  After his nap we all got ready for the parties.  I wrapped Addison's present which Finn promptly began to unwrap.

Let me say that Circus World was great! While Finn was little too short to ride the bumper cars or the trampoline thing Finn did bowl his first game.  It started out a little bit rough - lots of gutter balls (Michael is not a believer in the bumpers).  Then we found this big metal tool that you set the ball on to position it and then push the ball down onto the lane.  Finn thought this was really fun.  His bowling stance is priceless too.

While Michael and Finn were bowling, I held Sam in the baby carrier and videoed.  Next we went to the party room and Finn ate pizza.

We had to leave a few minutes early so Finn grabbed his present and gave it to Addison on the way out.  Then we went home to meet Grandad and Gigi and drop off Sam.  (Grandad and Gigi watched Sam while we took Finn to JT's party).

JT had a "monster truck" party so of course Finn had a good time.  He played monster trucks, ate Snickers, played ball in the back yard and terrorized the neighbors for two whole hours (we found JT and Finn on the neighbor's front porch).  Midway through the party Dad dropped Sam off and picked up Finn.  Finn spent the night with Grandad and Gigi Saturday night and then will be spending the week with Nana, Papa and Cooper.  I felt a little bit sad when we got home - I am going to miss that little stinker.  But I know that he will have so much fun.

I was zonked after the parties were over so Michael and I sat on the couch and watched the latest X-Men.  Not the worlds best movie but it was nice to be still for few minutes and hold my sweet Sam.
