Happy Birthday Papa

Today we celebrated Papa's birthday! We celebrated by having a cookout in the back yard. Finn and Coop played on a quilt on the patio while Papa cooked the hamburgers.

They had a lot of fun together. They smelled rosemary, and took turns swinging (Finn still hates the swing) and they played follow the leader. Finn and Cooper are really starting to enjoy each other's company. During dinner Finn sat in the booster seat next to the patio table and ate hamburgers, beans and Papa's favorite - Mayonnaise.
Papa gave Finn a big fist full of mayonnaise and Finn proceeded to shove it in his mouth. So disgusting!

My thoughts exactly.

Next Papa opened his presents from Nana, Finn and Coop! Finn's car wasn't very nice.
Then the boys watched some television. Finn and Cooper put their baby hands all over the television screen; it made me a nervous wreck.

Next we tried to get some pictures of Papa and the boys. It took several attempts.

They also read books. Cooper is a great listener. Finn's listening skills are less than impressive.
Then Finn had a big bowl of homemade ice cream. The ice cream must have given Finn a second wind because he went full speed until 10:30.
When it was finally time to settle down, we put Finn in his new nightshirt. He could barely get around in it because it was so long.

Finn ended up falling asleep in the middle of the living room floor, so we carried him upstairs and put him in the middle of the air mattress. Finn slept all night with Nana on the air mattress.
