The Gator

I have a great family.  On Tuesday Jerry and Tracey drove all the way down to Manchester to bring one of Rex's toys to live at Nana and Papa's house.  And it wasn't just any ol' toy - it was a "Finn and Cooper" sized Gator.

After leaving Deanna's house we went to visit Nana and Papa's house.  When we got there we saw the Gator waiting in the front yard.  Finn got onto the Gator and did his best to take off.  He wasn't particularly smoothe - he would take his foot off the petal and put it back on.  He would go jerking around the yard.  He wanted for one of us to ride in the back so we had to explain to him that we were too big.  Instead, we put Sam in the back.  Poor child probably has whip-lash.

Next, Finn decided that he wanted to ride in the back of the Gator.  He didn't quiet understand that we were too big to drive him around.  When we realized that the bed of Gator tilted (like a dump truck) he started putting grass and dirt and rocks in the back to haul.

Next Finn used the Gator to help Papa in the garden.  He put some big rocks in the back and drove them over to the garden.  Finn thought that helping Papa in the garden was great.  He took his shoes and dug right in, literally, with his hands. He helped dig holes and then water the new tomato plants.  He then helped Papa plant the blueberry bush.

Since he was completely covered in dirt from head to toe Finn had to take a bath the moment he got inside.  After his bath Finn fell sound asleep on the recliner.  Mom and I went to Walmart to get the movie Madagascar 2 and then some chinese food for dinner.  When we got back Finn watched a little bit of his new movie while we ate.  Then he played upstairs with Papa while Mom, Sam and I watched a show on Charles Manson.  Finn came down midway through and fell asleep in my lap - he was so tired from his big day.
