On Friday after getting home from JT's house Finn ran into the house excited about his new toy.  Michael explained that he had picked Finn at lunch time and took him to get a new bike helmet.  He also got a baseball, bat and glove.   It was such a nice night that we ate outside while Finn and Sam played.

On Saturday morning we were out again by 8:30.  Finn wanted to play with his new stuff - all at the same time.

I should be noted that Finn dressed himself this morning.  While he didn't need the helmet to play baseball, it did come in handy when Finn tripped over his truck and fell head first into the ground.

Sam a mishap that morning too - he got tangled up in a rose bush.  Sam was panicking, Finn was panicking, I was panicking because I couldn't get Sam out of it.  Poor little thing has scratches all over his legs and arms.

 Sam loves playing with these chairs.  He pulls them out into the yard and sits in them.  (great story, huh?)

Later that day Grandad and Gigi came to take Finn to see Jurassic Park 3d!



Afterwards we had dinner at Mimi's cafe where Finn ate mini corndogs and Sam at his own finger.  As he was scarfing down french fries Sam accidentally bit his finger pretty hard - well, he cried as though he bit it pretty hard.  After supper we went over to Maggie Moos for ice cream.  Finn had cotton candy ice cream - most of his face was blue by the time he was finished.
