What a Difference a Year Makes

About this time last year I took some pictures of Finn sitting in his rocking chair. He was just over 3 months old.

This is Finn today. Finn is just over one year and four months (16 months). I am amazed at the difference.

This Finn's blanket. He calls it "blink-it." Finn doesn't suck his thumb or take a pacifier, but really loves this blanket. Every night before we put Finn to bed we give it to him and he either puts in his mouth or right up next to his face. Every morning when it is time to get up, he will stand up in his crib, hold on the rail with one hand and hold the blanket with his other hand. The minute he sees me, he throws the blanket in the floor as hard as he can. I pick it up and put it back in the crib. Finn will grab it and try his best to get it out of the crib. It is a real treat when he is allowed to play with his blanket somewhere other than the crib. Hence the excitement.
