Farmer Finn

Today Finn and I went to Sparta. Kara was in from Washington state so we packed up for a visit. While the purpose of the trip was to hangout with family, the trip turned into a huge photo shoot. Upon arriving in Sparta we stopped by Aunt Laura's house - this gave Finn and Cooper the chance to get reacquainted.

Next we went to eat some mexican food with Granny, Papa, Brian, Johnny, Megan, Kara, Laura, Nana, Em and Coop. Finn didn't really want to sit in the high chair so I brought in his booster seat. Finn certainly does not travel light. Finn also ate Mexican food for the first time. He had a bite of beans and little sour cream.
Notice that Finn has his tongue out in this picture. Since getting some teeth this has become is new favorite pastime.

After lunch all the grown girls and little boys took a picture together. FYI Granny Martha refused to be in the picture. And yes, I purposefully pointed this out.
Next we went back to Granny and Papa's for a little visit. Melissa, Anna and Sadie Belle met us there too. Granny and Papa have some great places to take pictures so we took the babies outside for a few pictures. As always a "few pictures" turned into 4 cameras taking hundreds of pictures over multiple hours.

Finn cooperated for most of the pictures; that is until he discovered grass. More specifically that he can pull the grass out of ground and shove it in his mouth. At one point Finn gave one of his precious "mouth wide open smiles" and all you could see was green.
Overall Finn enjoyed being outside at Granny and Papa's house. He really did look cute sitting next to the barn in his overalls.

Check out that figure.

Once we got home Finn sat on a blanket in the backyard while Michael poured potting soil and I pulled weeds. He also played with the fun toys that he got in his Easter basket from his Sparta Aunts. Thanks Sparta Aunts!
